Scholarship for Youth (SCHOLAR)
People’s Recovery, Empowerment and Development Assistance (PREDA) Foundation
Education for girls is one of the most important forms of prevention of human trafficking and child sexual abuse and teenage pregnancies.
Preda is meeting the need by providing many young people with educational assistance, scholarships and enabling them to graduate from high school and get a college education.
There is almost a hundred children that have finished their therapy and healing at Preda that are part of the Preda Foundation aftercare education assistance program. Preda also supports in college many scholars that are vulnerable to trafficking because of poverty.
We invite donors to set up scholarship funds to help needy youth get a good education and break the cycle of poverty in their families. Every educated and employed youth can help their siblings go to school. Preda manages and monitors and supports the students over the years of study by providing financial, moral and value formation and community involvement for their commitment to social action for justice.
