We at the Preda Foundation are happy to announce that there are now 21 boys at the Preda New Dawn Home in Liloan, Cebu. These are children in conflict with the law and children at risk referred to us by local social workers or family court judges. This alternative home for these children is funded by Preda’s partner Aktionsgruppe “Kinder in Not” e.V based in Windhagen, Germany.
In relation to this, we are still in need of a facilitator/therapist to be assigned to the New Dawn Home, Liloan, Cebu.
The facilitators/houseparents must be male and graduate from a four-year related course. Attached is a full job description and qualification for facilitator/therapist

Facilitators/Therapist
Job Description:
The general scope of responsibilities of a facilitator/therapist refers to all the tasks relating to personal care, education and values formation, therapeutic interventions, and recreational activities of children in the residential home.
Specifically, the Facilitator/Therapist shall:
1. Facilitate the conduct of the approved daily activities of the children, which include non-formal education (NFE) sessions, values formation, personality, and human development training, and group dynamics.
2. Elicit good behavior of the children
3. Ensure hygiene standards are maintained
4. Ensure that the needs of the children are properly addressed by coordinating with other members of the rehabilitation team.
5. Facilitate and deliver various therapeutic and psychosocial interventions for the children
The Facilitators/Houseparents will work directly with male CICL and CAR. Must be male. He must have an innate concern for the well-being of these children, a strong sense of responsibility, great leadership skills and must be in good physical and mental condition.
QUALIFICATION:
It is preferred that the Facilitator/therapist is a graduate of a four-year college degree (Education, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, and any of the behavioral sciences). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
