Preda Boys Pass Karate Promotional Exam
A total of 13 boys from the Preda BukangLiwayway Center attended the Karate Promotional Examination organized by A Child’s Trust is Ours to Nurture (ACTION) Inc. at the ACTION Chikara Studio last February 29, 2020 from 1pm to 3pm. These boys are students of Karate No Chikara (Power of Karate) who religiously attend the karate training sessions conducted by Senpai Jim Edison Rabaca twice a week in the Preda homes.
During the Karate Promotional Exams, the 13 boys learned new Karate techniques from Sensei Hajime Yokota, founder and president of ACTION, Inc. They were also all promoted to their respective Karate levels accordingly.
Karate is only one of several activities for the children in the Preda homes that teaches them discipline, perseverance and hard work. Aside from karate, at Preda the children participate in daily group dynamics, sports and other recreational activities.
