War and violence is the failure of humans to love, respect and dialogue for peaceful settlement of disputes.
To kill and maim is barbaric and a rejection of peace and the love of humanity that you taught and lived for Lord.
It was violence born out of ignorance and hatred that gave you Lord, the death penalty, nailed to a cross.
We reject it and all violence and war.
We stand for peace, human dignity and justice.

Amen
