An Australian who was part of the international child pornography ring, Wonderland, has been jailed for 3 years. David Alec Baines 37, one of two Western Australians prosecuted for involvement in Wonderland, was found with over 200 images on his home and work computers which detailed stories about sex with children and a chat log indicating Baines has supplied child pornography to persons in Europe.
Police smashed the Wonderland ring in 1998 when international law enforcement agencies conducted simultaneous raids in more than 30 countries. Four Australians have been prosecuted for involvement in Wonderland.
