NEW IRISH LAW TO PROTECT CHILDREN
Preda News
December 2018
A new law has passed the second reading in the Irish Parliament, Dail Eireann. It is to restrict and curtail International travel of Irish paedophiles convicted of child sexual assault. It will prevent them from abusing children in developing countries where many poor children are vulnerable and are abused with impunity because of lax enforcement of child protection laws.

Ireland will be the first country in the EU to have such a law. We will continue to support its progress and propose a similar law to member states of the European Parliament to encourage them to comply with International standards protecting women and children.
