Inspiring Hearts and Healing Lives: Sacred Heart College Students Visit Preda Homes

A group of 14 Students 4 boys and 10 girls and 3 teachers from the Sacred Heart College in Adelaide South Australia visited the Preda homes last November 22nd. They were guided by Brother Des Howard, a Marist Brother from Australia still on mission at 80 years.

For three days they stayed at the Preda guest house visited the Preda children’s healing and empowerment home for abused girls.  They joined group dynamic games with the 64 children and spent time listening to the stories the abused children. They gave solidarity and messages of friendship and care and hope to the children aged 7 to 17. They left a generous donation for the children.

The impact of the visit resonated deeply with the students, as reflected in their heartfelt message:

“It has been an inspiring and eye-opening experience being here. Thank You so much for sharing your incredible projects with us. We feel like we are in the presence of something very special.”

Their visit was not just about experiencing Preda’s work firsthand; it was also about leaving a tangible mark of support. The generous donation left by the group will contribute significantly to the ongoing care and empowerment of the children.

Preda Foundation expresses its deepest gratitude to the Sacred Heart College community for their visit and for their commitment to making a difference in the lives of these vulnerable children. May their visit inspire others to embrace compassion and action for a brighter future.

We wish the students and teachers a safe return to Australia and a future filled with blessings.
