Thank you, Lord, that I am alive, well, and able to serve and help the needy. Thank you, Lord, for the good life that I have.
May I continue to be inspired by your words and your life. You called me a friend, not a servant. You taught me to be humble when you washed the feet of your friends and disciples. You showed me how to have compassion for the poor.
You are the force of goodness and truth in my life and in the world. You are a force for goodness that always brings love of others and opposes wrongdoing. I am convinced that one day, goodness and the love of neighbor will overcome all the hatred, anger, and pain.
One day, we will live in peace, with social justice for all.
