3 minors rescued from cybersex dens run by grandmother, aunts

The National Bureau of Investigation rescued three minors aged 5 to 8 years old from alleged cybersex dens in Pampanga and Bulacan, a report from GMA’s “24 Oras” said Friday.
According to the report, it was the two aunts and grandmother of the victims who offered them to foreigners in exchange for money.
The grandmother of the victims who was also allegedly the cybersex den operator admitted their illegal activities and said the foreigners usually requested vulgar stuff from the victims like eating feces.
“Basta makikita lang nila na kunyari naliligo… Dinudurog [namin ang brownies] para mag pormang dumi. Kinakain kunwari [ng mga bata],” she said.
NBI Anti-Human Trafficking Division Chief Eric Nuqui said the suspects would even go as far as invite their clients to visit the country to abuse the children in person.
“Ipinapunta po nila dito ‘yung isang foreigner na siyang umabuso ng sekswal sa mga batang ito,” Nuqui.
The victims will undergo debriefing, psychological therapy and social inervention while the suspects face charges for statutory rape and violation of the Anti-human trafficking act and the child abuse law.
The Philippines remains among the top 10 countries where cyber-pornography involving children is rampant, according to a study by the Virtual Global Task Force.
